How to fix a driveshaft oil leak
This video is a brief description of how I diagnosed and replaced the rear output seal of a 246 transfer case in a 2000 Chev GM Suburban four wheel drive. The seal was leaking transfer case oil. This is amateur effort posted for entertainment, it is not meant to be a comprehensive or complete instructional video. Always seek out information from several sources, and rely heavily on the official dealers repair manual for specific information regarding your vehicle. The information contained here is offered in good faith, for free, but is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Auto repair is inherently dangerous, especially with inadequate equipment and training. Any misadventure you encounter if you decide to accept the risk of DIY auto repair is on you.
