Brothers Joseph and Willy have traveled from Belgium. In their luggage is a bronze sculpture that their father once discovered while cleaning up at work. It depicts the young shepherd David. In a biblical story, he defeats the giant warrior Goliath. David is portrayed in a triumphant pose after bringing Goliath down with a well-aimed stone. The bronze casting was created around 1880 by the French artist Louis Auguste Moreau. A special detail: The sculpture can be rotated on its base and thus viewed from all sides. Overall, it is in good condition; only a chip on the arm reduces its value. Expert Friederike has to temper the brothers' expectations somewhat: She estimates it will fetch 500 euros. Nevertheless, Joseph and Willy decide to sell. But what price will win in the dealers' room?
