The aim of this course is both to provide a basic introduction to cosmology and to offer a space for discussion and reflection on the nature of scientific thought. These recordings represent only a portion of a course designed for undergraduate students from all disciplines. They are therefore not exhaustive. (A number of errors or inaccuracies—slips of the tongue—due to improvised spoken language have been corrected but unfortunately remain in the videos. They should be considered simply as an invitation to reflection. At the university where these courses are taught, students are explicitly encouraged to express any disagreements: the goal is to foster respectful and constructive debate.
