After serving as a sales manager for a local software company, he made a bold mid-career transition into education. Over the next 17 years, he dedicated himself to Seattle Public Schools as both a teacher and administrator. In 2020, amid the shifting tides of cancel culture, his tenure came to an unexpected end. Today, Ed contributes part-time to the nonprofit sector and offers education consulting services.
