Bizarre Inc. ‘I’m Gonna Get You’ | The Making Of A House Classic

Angie Brown, formerly of Bizarre Inc., shares the story behind their ‘90s house anthem, ‘I’m Gonna Get You’. Growing up in Brixton in the ‘80s, Angie tells DJ Mag about discovering her voice, and becoming a regular singer on the London club circuit. It was during this time that she was approached by a talent scout on behalf of Bizarre Inc. Meeting the production trio in a studio in Stafford, Brown didn’t initially understand how the track was going to work, having been asked to sing parts of Jocelyn Brown’s ‘Love’s Gonna Get You’ alongside some ad-libs — but only a few months later she was in the charts. Here, Angie Brown speaks of Top of the Pops performances, eventually leaving Bizarre Inc., and appearing on UK talent show The Voice. Electronic music history is rich with unforgettable and timeless classics.
