Did you also believe that elegance while traveling looks like it does in thumbnail photos? I used to, too. And then I realized that an outfit that looks great on Instagram can be extremely impractical—and therefore (paradoxically) inelegant. In this episode, I explain how to truly look and feel classy on a long trip. If you like white sets with flowing legs—great, I admire you! But that's not the only option, and I wanted to highlight that in this episode. I discuss, among other things: which pants to choose for a long flight (and why wide-leg pants are a trap); how to dress to survive any temperature on a plane; why trendy bright colors can be a risky choice; what shoes to choose; which accessories are worth taking and which to leave at home or pack in your suitcase; my approach to makeup and perfume when traveling. I'm recording this episode literally a few days before my trip, because the idea for this episode came from thinking about my past mistakes while planning my outfit.
