Starlight Drift

I wrote this track during a particularly isolating period in my life, spent cooped up in a small, coastal town with nothing but the sound of the waves and my own thoughts to keep me company. The hazy, ambient textures and pulsing bass lines were my attempt to capture the eerie, otherworldly beauty of those fog-shrouded nights, when the only sound was the creaking of the old wooden pier and the distant hum of the sea. This track is about the feeling of being suspended in a state of weightlessness, like being adrift on the ocean's surface. I wanted the listener to feel a sense of serene detachment, as if they were floating above the chaos of the world, unencumbered by the burdens of reality. For me, this track belongs to those quiet, introspective moments when the world feels like it's standing still. It's the sound of the fog rolling in, shrouding everything in mystery and uncertainty, and the slow, heavy beat of the bass line is like the pulse of the earth itself. Musically, this track is a slow-motion dance, with the glassy synth pads and deep, pulsing bass lines weaving together in a hypnotic pattern. The slow-motion guitar swells are like wisps of fog drifting across the surface of the music, creating an atmosphere that's both serene and unsettling.
