I Lost My Gal From Memphis - Smoking Time Jazz Club

Celebrating the release of our new album Everything Is Righteous at Jimbino's Vegan Cafe in Musician's Village, New Orleans Musicians' Village (New Orleans, Louisiana) is a new neighborhood built around a music center where musicians can teach and perform. Musicians Harry Connick, Jr. and Branford Marsalis teamed up with Habitat for Humanity International and New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity to create the village for New Orleans musicians who lost their homes to Hurricane Katrina. Our host, Jimbino Vegan is a "jack of all trades" a painter, a musician and bread baker. Often he plays clarinet with the band, check out our album "Oh Sister Ain't That Hot" to hear Jimbino's hot clarinet playing! Just as often he can be found drawing pictures of the band or doing head spins while the band plays! On Sundays he serves vegan food in the the Musician's Village. On this particular day Mr. Smokey the "king of the drums" from Fats Domino's band was hanging out in the back yard just chillin' at Jimbino's Vegan Cafe... and head spins they were a plenty !
