Caitlin Moran explores taboo subjects in her new book 'How to build a girl'- Newsnight
WARNING EXPLICIT LANGUAGE When How to be a Woman exploded onto the scene a couple of years ago, it was pretty clear a new voice of feminism had been launched, loud and clear. This was a voice that shouted from the rooftops - or from a chair, more explicitly - but it was funnier, self deprecating, allowing for the inconsistencies and irregularities that often accompany any attempt at doctrine. Caitlin Moran was its author - and she's returned to long-form writing. This time with a novel about a girl who grows up on benefits in Wolverhampton in the 1990s and becomes a music journalist.
