added custom events system | Week 5 | Dark Collection: El and Ellie
Welcome to Week 5 of developing Dark Collection: El and Ellie! This week, I built a custom events system that gives me much more control over how gameplay, story moments, and scripted sequences are triggered. It makes creating unique interactions easier and allows the game to feel more dynamic and immersive. Every new system brings Dark Collection: El and Ellie one step closer to the experience I have in mind, a story-driven first-person horror game filled with tension, mystery, exploration, and unforgettable moments. I'm developing this project solo in Unreal Engine, and every week I share the progress, challenges, and new features being added to the game. If you enjoy indie horror games or game development, consider following the journey and let me know what you'd like to see added next!
