Yusuke Ishihara/Bass In 1998, he entered Berklee College of Music as a scholarship student. He won the Elvin Joens Award while in school. After graduating in 2002, he performed mainly in Boston and returned to Japan in 2003. Moved his performance base to Tokyo. In 2011, he entered the Toho Gakuen School Of Music . He studied the Double Bass under Mr. Masanori Ichikawa and devoted himself to studying classical music. In 2016, he won the Gold Prize and the Soloist Prize at the 36th Asakusa Jazz Contest Band Division. Formed Yusuke Ishihara Trio in 2019 and released the album "Dig Into Jazz" in 2021. He performs in various genres, mainly jazz.
