This morning I felt like doing something different, and thought like recording an easy-going playlist, just for the vibes. Thought purely for the grooves and to enjoy some quiet time in the sunlight. Interestingly, the inspiration for this session came from a request by my Mum, she wanted a blues mix. And although I tried, a blues crossover wasn't working the way I wanted, so decided to explore jazz and house instead. The result, I think, is a classy blend good for enjoying, not matter waht you are doing. This was also the perfect excuse to try my new AlphaTheta DDJ-FLX4, which replaced my DDJ FLX2, while for video recording and capturing the garden environment I used my Insta360 X5. While there is a lot to learn, in all senses, genre, video and using this mixer, I am quite happy, and enjoyed a lot while doing it (although at some moments I feared some rain might ruin the party).
