My 4 Glues RC Basics

My 4 Glues RC Basics In this video I will discuss and demonstrate my 4 glues, as part of my RC basics series. I have built a wide range of radio control (RC) model aircraft over the years. There are several dozen shown in this channel. My 4 glues for RC basics are 5 minute epoxy, cyanoacrylate glue (or CA glue for short), a hot glue gun and clear canopy glue or Formula 560 glue. 5 minute epoxy is a two part glue that is mixed in equal portions and hardens within five minutes. 5 min epoxy is very strong, fills gaps and adhere to a wide range of surfaces. CA glue is very useful for gluing wood to wood. As the CA glue dries within seconds it greatly speeds building in the shop and is suitable for field repairs. A hot glue gun is perfect for binding foam board parts and is quite strong. A hot glue gun is ideally suited for fast building of foam board RC airplanes. Clear canopy glue is perfect for gluing in place clear plastic canopies with no danger of fogging as with CA glues. I purchase all of my glues on www.Amazon.com Chapters 00:00 - Intro 00:37 - Overview 02:32 - 5 minute epoxy 06:02 - CA glue 08:46 - Hot glue gun 10:30 - Clear canopy glue
