Cub Cadet Diesel Glow Plug Solenoid Upgrade!

This is a video on the install of a glow plug upgrade with adding a solenoid as well. I will leave a list of parts, And parts numbers below. You can substitute some of these parts with other brands if you would like. You may be able to go with a less expensive solenoid, But this one I have chosen fits on the existing bolt holes of the fan mounting bracket. The parts I used for this came from NAPA, But most parts stores will have everything you need. This upgrade will work on Cub Cadet models 782D, 882,1512,1572,1772. Parts List. Solenoid. Napa pro former part number ST404SB Glow plug. NGK part number Y-103V You need 3 of these. 2 Feet of 6 gauge battery cable wire. 6 inches of 10 gauge wire 2 cable lugz 5/16 diameter. Noble brand part number 919 1 connector 8 stud. Noble brand part number 232M 1 connector 5/16 stud. Noble brand part number 235M Optional parts. 3/8 heat shrink tube. Noble brand part number 5524-2P 2 feet 3/8 wire loom. 1 10mm or 1 14 mm gromet 18 gauge wire with a LED and holder for the indicator light on the dash.
