EP19 Varada

Greetings, sailors! In this episode of Sailing Noah, we take our sailboat, Noah, to the El Campello boatyard for one of the most important maintenance services of the season. Join us during the transfer, the haul-out, and the work carried out on land by Alamilla Nautik. We take advantage of our time at the boatyard to perform a complete hull cleaning, replace the anodes, apply a new coat of antifouling paint to the underwater hull, and restore the shine to the topsides. 🔧 In this video, we'll see: ⚓ The transfer of the Noah to El Campello. 🚤 The haul-out maneuver and launching. 🧽 Cleaning the underwater hull. 🎨 Applying antifouling paint to protect the hull. ✨ Polishing and buffing the topsides. 🔩 Inspection of the strut, shaft, and propeller to check their condition and detect any wear or damage. Regular maintenance is essential to preserving the performance, safety, and appearance of any sailboat. Furthermore, an underwater inspection of the propulsion system can prevent future problems and help us sail with peace of mind.
