Forrest and Sheena are supposedly moving forward after last night's dinner disaster, but you'd hardly know it. Forrest's planning a proposal, Molly's planning to stop it, and Sheena's dad is making it clear that no unemployed foreign boyfriend is getting access to his daughter's account before a ring's on her finger. So, what follows is a tug-of-war where Sheena is the rope and everyone else is doing the pulling. Her dad wants cultural respect (and money!), Forrest wants financial access, and Molly wants control. But isn't it galling how little self awareness Molly has? She's complaining Sheena's dad wants too much control after literally trying to dictate whether or not her son should propose his girlfriend🤦‍♂️ As for Sheena, bless her, she lands on the most exhausting compromise imaginable: weekly screenshots of her bank statement to keep the peace. Yea... sounds like fun. Weekly audits by Molly into where she spent her own money. Frankly this relationship needs fewer opinions and more income.
