How You Should Implement Skills - Making a TTRPG from Scratch [Episode 19]
In this episode I explore the use of skills in my game. I personally think that skills and attributes are two different approaches to the same characteristics. Attributes are characteristics you're born with like strong, logical, handsome, while skills are characteristics that you improve through experience, like athletics, stealing and etiquette. Skills are based on your knowledge, which is why I think knowledge isn't actually an attribute, such as in many other game, but rather that skills are a combination of your character's knowledge and experience. Do you agree? Leave a comment if you have an opinion on how you want to run skills in your game.
