The Second Passu Cherry Exhibition 2026 concluded successfully after six memorable days of celebration, culture, and community spirit. Visitors from across Pakistan, along with international tourists, gathered in the beautiful village of Passu to experience its rich traditions, delicious local cuisine, fresh cherries, handicrafts, and warm Wakhi hospitality. The exhibition provided an excellent platform for local entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their products directly to visitors. Women played a remarkable role by presenting handmade handicrafts, traditional foods, and local specialties, contributing significantly to the event's success. The festival generated an estimated PKR 2 million in local sales, creating valuable economic opportunities for the community and encouraging youth-led entrepreneurship. Organized with dedication by the young people of Passu, this inspiring initiative has laid a strong foundation for future editions, and, Insha'Allah, it will continue to grow in the years ahead.
