#GogunsanArchipelago #IslandTrail #IslandTravel The Gogunsan Island Trail is a maritime trekking course connecting five islands from Maldo to Bangchukdo in Okdo-myeon, Gunsan-si, Jeollabuk-do, via four pedestrian bridges. Described as approximately 14km long (only 7.2km covering three islands is available today), the highlight is walking between the islands to continuously experience natural landscapes, including views of the West Sea, unique rock formations, and forest paths. I took a tour around the area ahead of the full opening on July 11th. Since the bridge between Myeongdo and Bangchukdo is not yet completed, I was unable to enter Bangchukdo or Gwangdaedo. Bridges connecting the islands, wildflowers, strangely shaped rocks, and primeval forest paths. This place is full of charm; I definitely want to visit again on a clear blue day, especially to see the coastal folds at Maldo Beach.. * Starting from the 11th when the full course opens, the total distance will be 14km, and we recommend taking a leisurely 5 to 6 hours.
