Famous as the world's only known leaning temple, its main shrine and surrounding structures tilt, yet the temple's pinnacle remains perfectly upright. The Sacred Fish: The river waters surrounding the temple are home to large schools of the 'Kudo' fish. Locals consider them the sacred assets of Lord Shiva and believe that no one should ever harm or catch them. These fish are remarkably tame and will reportedly eat sweets and food directly from the hands of bathers.
