Dumka district of Jharkhand is known as the cultural capital of Santhal Paragana. Santhal tribe is the most dominating community of this region. Shibu Soren comes from Santhal tribe. In his Yong age, Shibu Soren was a firebrand Santhal leader. He leads to the land reform movement in Santhal paragana. People of his tribe consider him as a scared person and calls him dishom guruji. Shibu Soren has won 8 Lok Sabha elections from Dumka Lok Sabha Constituency. This time he is facing a tough fight against BJP's Sunil Soren. The lallantop covered a public meeting of Shibu Soren in Shikaripada block of dumka lok sabha constituency. People came to see their dishom guruji but they are not going to vote him for 9th time.
