The intense heat Audi's turbocharged EA839 engine puts out, oil changes are critical. Heat plays a large factor in how quickly oil degrades. Luckily, oil changes on the B9 S5 can be done the old-fashioned way—draining it from the bottom—or how dealerships do it now—sucking out the old oil through the dipstick tube.
