Weapon: Tikka, .308 Win, Barnaul FMJ cartridge, 20" (508 mm) barrel. 5 shots per device, the average score counted. Control level without muzzle brake: ~170 dB (device limit). The test has two ratings. The first is the sound rating: which one is the quietest? The second is the efficiency rating: which one removes more decibels per 100 g of mass and per 100 mm of length before cutting. Champions in these areas vary, and this is the main practical conclusion: the can is chosen for the task. We'll show all the results, including those that are inconvenient for us: two of our models failed to pass the 140 dB threshold, and we'll say so directly.
