I upholstered her headboard in dark red velour with orange trim and painted the base. The bed has been incredibly transformed! It's now soft and beautiful. I used 30mm foam (and then 10mm foam). We also added a pink nightstand, a simple mirror, and painted a few bright paintings for decor.
