How To Make Grilled Kimchi Ham & Cheese Sandwiches - Recipe

The addition of kimchi spices up a grilled ham & cheese sandwich and takes it to another level. INGREDIENTS 8 slices rye bread (or other bread of choice) 1/4 - 1/3 cup mayonnaise 7 oz (200g) sliced ham 8 oz (230g) Gouda cheese, grated 12 oz (340g) hakusai kimchi (Napa cabbage kimchi) DIRECTIONS 1. Slather mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. 2. Place half the slices mayo-side-down on a cutting board. 3. Divide half of the kimchi amongst those four slices. 4. Place half of the cheese on top of the kimchi. 5. Layer the ham slices across the cheese. 6. Repeat placing a layer of the remaining kimchi and a layer of the remaining cheese. 7. Top with the remaining slices of bread - mayo side up. 8. Cook in a frying pan, on medium heat, for 3-5 minutes - until nicely browned. 9.
