Tutorial: come posare correttamente i fili di tensione in una recinzione (video 1 di 2)

The video is divided into two parts. In the first, we'll learn how to install the wires, while in Video 2, we'll learn how to tension the wires with the respective tensioners. What do we need to install tension wires? We'll obviously need wire, tie rods, and simple pliers. Okay... let's get started! Let's imagine we have a fence wall that begins and ends because we already know that the tension wires must be interrupted at each change of direction. The first thing to do is determine the length of wire needed for the job. To do this, let's temporarily secure the first end of the wire to the first post. Let's unroll the skein and, leaving a certain amount of excess, we'll cut it. Okay! Now we have enough thread to do the job. The second important thing to know is to tie the central and lower threads around the pole without passing them through the holes in the poles, so that once tied, they're free and can still slide up and down freely. We'll find out why later... To properly close the tension wire, we need to create a sort of "crank" with the thread itself. Keeping it taut, we'll begin to roll it around itself, creating a neat serpentine shape. This serpentine shape should have about 4 or 5 turns. Okay, now let's repeat the operation for the other end of the tension wire and cut off the excess with the pliers. Once the first thread is secured, we do the same for the other two threads, but the only difference will be passing the first top thread through the holes in the poles. So, to recap: first top thread, through the holes. Second and third wires, outside the posts. We're now almost finished with our work, and we'll have three wires (still to be tightened) properly tied to the posts, but with the possibility of sliding the middle and bottom wires upward. This is the result we wanted, and I'd say we're almost there! Now, if you want to find out how to tension them, watch video 2 of 2, which will appear at the end of this video! That's all for now. Thank you for your attention, and I hope this has been helpful with some practical advice on how to install tension wires.
