In a major development, simultaneous vigilance raids are being conducted at seven different locations linked to Satyanarayan Sethi, the Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Kotpad Block, over allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income. Meanwhile, on the occasion of the holy festival Sheetal Sasthi, Union Education Minister and Sambalpur MP Dharmendra Pradhan conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the people of Odisha through a video message. He stated that Odia culture is a culture of emotion and devotion. On the other hand, regarding errors found in school textbooks from Class 1 to Class 8, SCERT Director Madhusmita Sahu has responded.
