Guiding Light May 31 2002, Rick & Mel's Wedding is made more special by their friends

Just as the judge is beginning Rick and Mel's wedding ceremony, Phillip interrupts him and says that they are not ready for a wedding because Rick never had a bachelor party. He arranges for Beth, Lillian, Harley and Holly to put on a little show for Rick. When the show is over, Phillip wheels Rick out of his hospital room and on to the hospital park, which has been transformed into a wedding wonderland. As the judge is about to begin the ceremony again, Michelle cuts him off to say a few words about how special it is that Rick and Mel have found each other. Gus reads a poem. Rick and Mel exchange their vows and just as they are about to be pronounced man and wife, Danny arrives with Ed. Ed walks down the aisle and hugs Michelle and Rick.
