Factura electrónica y nuevas obligaciones de facturación: VeriFactu

The Castelló SME Accelerator Office of FEMEVAL held the seminar “Electronic Invoicing and New Billing Obligations: VeriFactu” at CEDES Morella. This informative session was aimed at companies, freelancers, and professionals interested in learning about the regulatory changes that will shape the future of electronic invoicing in Spain. The seminar featured Sebastià Abogados, who led the session and explained the key aspects of the VeriFactu system and the latest developments regarding electronic invoicing. This new regulation aims to guarantee the integrity, traceability, and immutability of billing records, reinforcing transparency and tax control. During the meeting, fundamental aspects were addressed, such as how VeriFactu works, the obligations that billing software must meet, the exceptions provided by law, and the key dates for its mandatory implementation. With initiatives like this, FEMEVAL's Castelló SME Accelerator Office continues to provide SMEs and the self-employed with practical tools and knowledge to boost their digital transformation and facilitate their adaptation to new business challenges. “The SME Accelerator Offices, launched throughout Spain by Red.es, a public entity attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration through the State Secretariat for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, have allocated over €29 million in funding in their 2025 call for proposals to promote the digitalization of SMEs, the self-employed, and entrepreneurs. The maximum grant amount is 80% of the eligible budget and is financed by the European Union, European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) for the 2021-2027 period.”
