Panasonic Lumix G9 II im Test an den Eschefelder Teichen

The new Panasonic Lumix G9 II simply had to be tested immediately. During a walk around the Eschefeld Ponds, I put the camera to the test under real-world conditions, paired with the 100-300mm telephoto lens. The focus was primarily on autofocus, image stabilization, and video recording of birds, nature, and small details along the way. After six years with the original G9, I wanted to know: Has Panasonic finally addressed the autofocus issues? Especially with moving subjects like birds or motorsports, this wasn't always easy. The Lumix G9 II is supposed to be significantly improved in this regard. The footage was shot handheld, directly in nature. Besides bird shots, the video includes impressions of the Eschefeld Ponds, spontaneous nature observations, and initial experiences with the new camera in practical use. Equipment used: • Panasonic Lumix G9 II • Panasonic 100-300mm telephoto lens • MFT / Micro Four Thirds system The Eschefeld Ponds are always a beautiful destination for nature lovers, photographers, and videographers in Saxony. Even though the birds were a bit scarce this time, there were still some interesting subjects to photograph. What are your experiences with the Panasonic Lumix G9 II? Feel free to share them in the comments.
