This means it will definitely be back on the channel very soon so please subscribe via link above 👍 The car is a Audi 80 2.0 90hp manual saloon with ABT coded 1984cc 4 cylinder 8v petrol engine and single point Bosch MonoMotronic fuel injection. SORRY IT IS NOT FOR SALE. In this video I show you how I fixed an Audi 80 that I purchased from Audi UK. It resided on their heritage fleet for a few years but was surplus to requirements and remained unused as it was acquired as part of a job lot with some other super rare Audis that they really wanted. It also didn't run properly when warm which was probably something to do with the fact it had done just 5000 miles in 28 years (that is not a typo!). The mileage was obviously a big factor in the car's appeal when I was offered it and I took a punt that I'd be able to fix it for minimal expense which I did as I show you in this video. I'm not sure what the future holds for this car but it needs a cambelt change. MOT, service and some paintwork before it's good enought to sell on, plus I quite like it so will probably be around for a while yet. A lot of people are wondering why I didn't drain the tank - I may still do this but it's a pain and not good for the environment so best avoided if possible. It was much easier to just add some good fuel, the car ran OK to the petrol station, just with the odd flat spot so I figured new fresh fuel would only make it better which it has but still not perfect. However it drives 95% perfectly now compared to not at all before and will burn through that fuel quickly enough.
