The course is very useful for the students preparing for entrance exams like JEE, NEET, CA CPT, GATE, CAT etc and preparing for qualifying/entrance exams for job and services. Link for the course: https://www.udemy.com/course/draft/45... High Voltage Engineering an important course in the under graduate degree level course of Electrical Engineering. The contents of this course are classification of dielectrics and breakdown mechanisms in them, over voltage phenomenon in power system and insulation coordination, generation and measurement of high voltages and currents, high voltage and non destructive testing. Through the series of lectures the concepts of high voltage engineering subjects will be explained. When there is direct lightning stroke, side stroke or release of static charges on transmission line travelling waves are established. These are the voltage waves of very high amplitude. If they enter the power system equipment, insulation will be damaged. Therefore protection of power system equipments against travelling waves is necessary. This video lecture explains how this protection is provided.
