I spent the night in "deadliest" part of Honduras to find its human story | Barrio Lopez Arellano

I spent the night in the home of one of my followers in Lopez Arellano, a neighborhood in Choloma, Honduras, stigmatized for its crime rate. Many Hondurans told me not to go, as they said it was too dangerous to walk its streets after nightfall. But Albertt Rivera, the follower who invited me, assured me that it would be a pleasant experience to spend the night at Lopez Arellano. The contradictory information left me confused, not knowing who to believe. I wanted to know... what is it really like in the neighborhood at night? How would its people welcome a Japanese American walking its streets at night? There was only one way to find out: visit the neighborhood and spend the night there. Albertt is a rising Reggaeton singer from Lopez Arellano. In this video, you’ll learn about his heartbreaking past and how he’s defying the odds to succeed, and what it’s like behind the scenes to prepare for and produce a reggaeton music video in Honduras. ------------ Albertt Rivera YouTube:    / @alberttrivera   Instagram:   / albertt.rivera   Facebook: https://bit.ly/2TXOx9S Use the TENGO app to donate to Albertt: +504 3148 3162 Gilberto Raul Bautista Rivera ------------ ***** My biography (English): https://a.co/d/22O6ejL My biography (Spanish): https://a.co/d/4aJUsdX New York Times article featuring Lopez Arellano ('SOMEONE IS ALWAYS TRYING TO KILL YOU'): https://nyti.ms/3xPwNft Donate to Students Helping Honduras: http://bit.ly/3rmQZT0 Facebook: http://bit.ly/3c2l4B3 Twitter: https://bit.ly/3c0ri4m Instagram: https://bit.ly/3c8REkE Build a school in Honduras: http://bit.ly/2OuToMT Teach English in Honduras: http://bit.ly/3rnxs4Z
