ACA Banshee 115 | Alert (x3) | Hermitage, PA

Recorded on January 2nd, 2020. This was the monthly test of the emergency sirens in Hermitage Pennsylvania, conducted on the first Thursday of the month between 10 and 10:30AM. This Banshee is located at the Hermitage Street Department facility. Today I decided to venture out to Pennsylvania to finally get out and record my first ACA branded siren. I was a little skeptical that the banshee would go given my luck with other legacy sirens; but, at ten after I was luckily proven wrong. It was pretty loud for its size even from 300' away. I'm not sure as to why the windups were so sluggish, though it did end up hitting pitch so I’m not complaining. There was another Banshee (albeit single tone) sitting on the ground on the other side of the main building. Several others were here to record the Banshee, though I'm not entirely sure who all was present. All in all I'd say today's test was a success, enjoy!
