In today's video, Linda continues with Part 3, the final session of the Happy Snowman tile-scene project from OESD! She explains how to match each tile together with the tile next to it, then how to position them and stitch them together so that they are lined up perfectly - there is some "squidging" involved, as Linda explains. You'll find that she likes her Bernina 720 piecing machine with precision stitches to do the piecing in this and all of her quilts. Linda also shows an easy and effective way to "press" and flatten the seams open. With all the tiles sewn together, she then shows how to "quilt" the project, with batting and backing, by stitching in the ditch. Follow along with these steps and you'll complete a beautiful winter scene in no time and your Happy Snowman will become the centerpiece of your holiday décor! Enjoy!
