Hyper Realistic Dollhouse Marble Floor

In this episode of This Old Dollhouse, I take you along as I create marble flooring for the bathroom. That's right, I've moved on from the kitchen... for now. I use a two layer technique to create the flooring the first layer is marble paper and the top layer is a thin plexiglass. I also create a nifty jig with just painters tape and plexiglass on my cutting mat so I can get the perfect angles on all the plexiglass cuts. Materials Used: Rubber Cement Paper Plexiglass Mat board **I did not use a laser cutter on this project because the plexiglass I used is NOT SAFE for laser cutters. Before cutting any plastic on a laser cutter, check to see if it will create any volatile gasses. When in doubt look it up, and if you don't know what the plastic is, then don't cut it! There's many websites out there that have databases of safe and unsafe materials to cut on a laser cutter, all you have to do is google "not safe materials laser cut". Happy making!
