Extreme Idaho Kokanee Fishing & Midnight Steak Cookout.

Heading up to my favorite Kokanee lakes just outside of Boise, and the trip turned into an ultimate survival test! I was hit by extreme lightning and thunderstorms, forcing me to ride out the terrifying weather in the truck for hours. Once the rain finally subsided, I headed out in the pitch-black middle of the night to cook a beautiful, well-deserved steak dinner under the stars. The next morning, the torrential rain returned, forcing me to cut the trip short. The incredible catch and the midnight steak made it a trip to remember.
