F** race 2 ozone, le test et présentation
F** Race 2 Flight Test and Presentation: The F** Race 2 harness features a new, very comfortable geometry. This harness is very lightweight and compact, yet surprisingly not fragile, judging by the number of flights I've already done with it. It has a hammock-style design, making it very comfortable with no pressure points. It has a very large inflatable canopy that can be inflated via the inflation tube on the shoulder, either by mouth or with the integrated pump in the back panel, which has a non-return valve. In short, it needs to be inflated, but there are plenty of options. For the pockets: large side pockets on both sides, one of which is zippered, and a large back pocket with two additional compartments for a hydration bladder and trekking poles. For the reserve parachute: 3.5L capacity, allowing you to carry a size 120 ultralight reserve like an Ozone or Advance. But really, nothing larger. Very easy to mount and lock. It has a very strong magnetic skirt! The harness is designed for racing, but not exclusively; it can be used regularly without any problems (though be mindful of wear and tear over time, as it is ultralight). It's very easy to fly, very comfortable, with a very comfortable back support and an adjustable ABS system. Personally, I leave it "barely taut," and it's fine. The adjustable chest strap is also fine; "barely taut" is perfect. The glide is excellent, perhaps less so than a sub-sub, but the difference isn't that significant. It's already very streamlined with a fairly large fairing that isn't dangerous in case of a crash. So, it's a perfect harness for Hike and Fly competitions, without compromising safety. For bivouacking, you certainly shouldn't land in brambles with it, but personally, it's the one I'll take for that! The chest strap is unnecessary; just put the bib straps in the Dyneema loops on the shoulders to prevent slippage, and there you go... it's ready to go :)
