Boat Transom Replacement - Marine plywood, coosa board, or something else?

Cost, strength and quality of materials are important to consider when replacing an old plywood transom. From coosa board to marine grade plywood, starboard, pvc board, pressure treated plywood and regular plywood - the main positives and negatives are covered in this video. If you need to replace the transom in your small boat, jon boat, aluminum boat or other little boat, selecting the right material for your new transom can be challenging and each option has advantages and disadvantages. Doing it "right" can be expensive and doing it wrong can mean that your boat sinks or you lose your engine. The option I chose for my new transom might not be the right choice for you.
