Welcome back, this is the Jason Newsted Bass Rig. Jason contributed to the core years of Metallica (1986-2000) after much growing pain. He eventually was given creative space writing such fan favourites as “My Friend of Misery, “King Nothing” and “Wherever I May Roam” to name a few. Jason's Bass Rig started out with basses you put together yourself and moved on to the likes of ESP, Alembic, Stuart Spector and eventually Sadowsky basses.
