I came all the way to Oviedo, Asturias, to try the award-winning BEST CACHOPO IN SPAIN 2023, prepared with Asturian PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) ingredients. Together with another Asturian influencer named July Avilés, we came to a restaurant called La Puerta de Cimadevilla in the heart of Oviedo and tried their cider, oricios (sea urchins in Asturian), Asturian pork croquettes, Cabrales cheese croquettes, tacos with Asturian touches, and of course, their creative cachopo, which I found spectacular.
