It may save you a lot of money. Some of the Honda CRV vehicles have a known issue referred to as oil dilution where some of the unburned fuel enters into the oil pan and mixes with the oil causing the oil to breakdown much sooner than it should. This means that the because the oil has broken down much sooner it is unable to protect your transmission and engine from the friction if you're trying to follow the normal maintenance schedule.
