"The Road To Babylon" was released on Manfred Mann's The Roaring Silence album in 1976. This was the first album by this group that I ever bought and I remember being amazed at how unique and different it sounded. This was a band with a sound all it's own and this album is a great example of that sound. I really love each and every song on the album and would have enjoyed creating a video for any of them. However, The Road To Babylon is not only one of my favorites, but I also thought it a good song for a video about the whole middle east situation. I dedicated this video to a friend of the family's who lost his life in Bagdad, Oscar Sauceda, Jr. and all the other brave men and women who sacrificed so that others might have a chance at freedom.
