(July 9, 2026) Tropical Waves 22, 23, and 24 are moving across Central America, the Caribbean Sea, Colombia, and Venezuela. The latter two are interacting with a cold low located over the eastern Bahamas. Additionally, a surface trough in the Bay of Campeche continues to produce abundant rainfall and thunderstorms. Furthermore, the National Hurricane Center is monitoring three areas with cyclonic potential in the North Central and Eastern Pacific, including Invest 90C.
