When Honda Embarrassed GM by putting CVCC on an Impala and crushing EPA tests - sort of
The early 70s were a time of turmoil. New EPA regulations regarding emissions were coming into place and automakers were scrambling. While the Big Three fought them, little old Honda developed a new technology called CVCC. With one disparaging comment, GM invited Honda to show them up.
