Funkenstein 5.13a

This climb is located at what might be my favorite crag in Squamish, BC. The crag is on Anvil Island and is accessible by boat. While some adventurers use kayaks and paddleboards, it's quite a distance to paddle. There's a great video about its development, which I'll link below. This climb took me five attempts, indicating there's likely room for improvement in some sections. It's an overhung enduro route, so taking advantage of the numerous rests is crucial. If you use the rests wisely and avoid rushing, you'll have a great time on this route. After overcoming the initial boulder problem at the bottom, the key is to stay composed and enjoy the ride until you reach the boulder problem at the top. On my previous attempt, I fell one move before the final scramble. I adjusted my beta by bumping my left hand up until I could start the scramble, which was much easier for me than trying to hit the pyramid hold on the right.
