She is an artist, illustrator and educator based in Cornwall. She works from her home studio with her dog Bobo as well as lectures part time on the BA and MA Illustration courses at Plymouth College of Art. She has illustrated over 50 children's picture books, and worked with a variety of International clients as well as exhibited her work in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Following the completion of her MA in Authorial Illustration at Falmouth University in 2012 she founded her own small press An-Ti-Dote Press where she publishes her own artist picture books. She is inspired by artists who get on and do the work. In particular the work of illustrator Manon Gauthier. She is also fascinated by the late David Bowie and the impact he has had culturally in our society today. She loves Earl Grey tea, having hugs from her dog Bobo, visiting exhibitions and sketching and exploring new places. Caroline's TOP TIPS : Make time for art.
