Every morning started with putting on a wig, dressing a little more conservatively than I'm used to, and trying to figure out how Japanese office culture actually works. Along the way, I gave presentations, learned new routines, survived an accidental late arrival, and slowly started adjusting to life on a 9-to-6 schedule…. But outside the office, life didn't suddenly stop- This week also included a modeling job, a fashion popup, a metal concert, workouts, picking up my final paycheck from the bunny bar, an unexpected modeling opportunity, and spending the weekend editing videos and cleaning my apartment For the past year, I've been living in survival mode while trying to build a life in Japan- Now that I finally have stability, I'm learning how to balance a corporate job with the creative life I've worked so hard to build So the question is: Can I still be myself at a Japanese company?
