G Force Hobby Genova "Build" Overview (read description!)

This is my poor attempt at a build video. Well, I say build video, it didn't work out exactly as I had planned for reasons that will become apparent soon after hitting that play button. So apologies if you were expecting a proper build video. But hopefully I succeeded in my aim of conveying as much useful information as possible to those interested in the new buggy from G Force Hobby. Disclaimer: I have little (read no) experience with modern high end buggies, so what I am saying is from the point of view of someone who spent most of their time in the hobby running around local parks with re-releases of vintage Tamiya's. I'm sure pro racers and hobbyists used to more high end kits will have a different perspective. So in this (rather long) video I'll give you the lowdown on the Genova build, what I thought of it, good 👍 and bad.👎 As there seems to be a lot of commentary on the price, I talk about that too. The price seems to be a topic of concern here in Japan also. Do I think it is expensive? Yes, and no! This isn't a cop out, so I challenge you to stay awake to the very end and see if you agree with my thought process. 😁 I will of course put out a final video once the paint has dried, decals applied and I've had chance to run it. So far though, I've got no regrets in buying the Genova. But then if I'm honest, I'd say that about any RC. I mean, you can never have enough RC's, right? 😁 At the time this goes live, the G Force Hobby Genova is available in Japan only for ~¥26,000 yen ($195 / £160).
