A modular kitchen cabinet is not only very versatile with various colors and styles, but it's also much more affordable than a custom kitchen. Let's understand the difference between modular furniture and custom furniture: Modular furniture: manufactured to scale in modules with standard dimensions. You can find a wide variety of colors and sizes, but you don't have the freedom to customize the exact dimensions of the room, so you may have something missing or left over. To use these modules, you have to puzzle together what best fits your home. They can often be made from the same material as custom-made furniture. MDF or even MDP is used, which isn't the same as particleboard. MDP is actually used by many well-known high-end furniture stores. Custom-made furniture, or many people know it as custom furniture, is made to precise measurements, fitting perfectly, and is good for crooked walls, chamfers, and dents. It can be done by a store or a carpenter, but it's much more expensive. A great advantage of modular furniture is that you can buy it piecemeal and even from different brands. In this case, I recommend using easy-to-find colors like white and black, as other colors may be discontinued or vary from brand to brand. You can find full kitchens or compact kitchens, but I think it's best to buy each module you really need, so you don't run out of space or have too much. Whether you have a small kitchen, an open-plan kitchen, or a kitchen with an island, there are always modules to suit your needs. Generally, on websites and modular kitchen stores, they refer to anything that sits on the floor as a countertop. There's a sink countertop, a corner countertop, and these configurations include doors, drawers, and pull-out drawers. We have island countertops, overhead cabinets, corner units, shelves, dish towel racks, wine racks, pantry cabinets, microwave modules, and hot tower modules. All of this makes up a kitchen that can cost an average of R$3,000 to R$5,000, while a similar kitchen with custom cabinets can easily cost between R$10,000 and R$20,000. Be careful with the countertop width, as countertop modules tend to be narrower, and some finishing touches in the corners and ceilings may be necessary to create closures in a budget modular kitchen.
